Girls that drive like to be in charge
The driver’s seat gives a sense of control
You go where you wanna go when you want to go
You run your life
Girls that drive do just fine on their own... for the first
couple of miles
Then they get to their twenties or thirties and start to think
‘It won’t be so bad to let a man drive’
And they contemplate giving up the driver’s seat
Finally they let a man drive
He likes to be in control; it’s okay for the first few miles
Just before the power struggle
Then the question becomes: ‘who really should drive?’
A man is a man, a woman is a woman
A man will drive as a man and a woman as a woman
But there’s just one driver seat
Should there be a struggle?
The struggle comes when she doesn’t trust his driving
Because she’s done it for so long on her own
The struggle comes when he doesn’t realize that she too can drive
But decided to trust him to do it
Girls that drive eventually learn
That there is no cause for a power struggle
Because both a man and a woman drive together in different
ways
He takes the lead because she gave him the honour
Let's go straight to the point. What does the convention say? Does it agree with the woman doing the driving? Of course not! Why? Maybe because the man is the head and the convention knows that. Maybe convention didn't establish that a woman should allow a man do the driving and be expecting the man to feel privileged rather than taking it as a right. However, convention doesn't say that the existence of a woman's driving skill should not be recognized or be trampled upon. A real man acknowledges the existence of this ability and its contribution and willingly offers that it gets presented. On the other hand, a real woman even if she has a better driving skill or doubts the credibility of a man's skill in driving or envisages negative certainties, should not impolitely make her presentation of this awareness known__ she should with the utmost sense of responsibility and honour, respectfully cuddle and welcome a man's ability and make a delightful suggestion under a very promising atmosphere to "save her head" of the looming lasting rejection and humiliation which might ensue.....THE TRUTH HAS TO BE SAID. WHEN IT'S SAID,HOW MANY PEOPLE FOLLOW IT? HOW MANY PEOPLE DO IT? IS IT JUST WITH THE TIP OF OUR TONGUES? DO WE KNOW AND SAY MORE THAN WE DO? AREN'T WE PROFESSORS OF WHAT WE DON'T DO?
ReplyDeleteA man is a man and a woman is woman anytime! The extension "...hood" (that brings manhood and womanhood) and its dignity should not be looked-down on.
When a man and a woman decide to be one through God's blessing then both will be responsible for the way they will go through live. What used to be a selfish decision before will have to be compromised today, but either way it will be the right decision, because God will guide them. Out of true love a wise decision will grow suitable for both. Without this love, no decision will be good and both will drive in their own direction. This love is the love for God and has to be number one.
